Is that punk, goth or rock?

So I went to a friend's 21st last night, trying to dress 80s punk and failing...
But it was so much fun. And when I suggested (via the ultimate networking tool, facebook) that I might dress punk everyday, I got a very loud 'yes please'.
Thing is, delineating between punk, goth and perhaps some of the harder rock looks is a little difficult. I was identified as the latter two and not as the first (maybe I should have done a fauxhawk?) which was a bit...
But yes, chains and fishnets. I've been told that if there are no photos, it didn't happen, so here is a closeup of my right ear from last night.

It's a little unclear, but basically what is happening here is that in the piercing closest to my face, I had a chain running from my right ear to the second piercing in my left. The second piercing in my right ear had a chain attached to the front of the dog collar, which you can also see in the picture. The first piercing in my left ear had a safety pin and a star shaped paper clip in it.

I'm sure you all wanted to know that.

I was tempted to put a fake ring on my lip, but then it would be hard to drink (and eat as well, but that's not so important).

So there's your proof.

On another note, awesome pictures from JBHifi's in Macquarie. Who is the artist, I wonder? There were about 5 around the shop...

And now I will be off to do my assignment.
