General Sillyness ~Chinese Supermarkets~

Being in a Chinese supermarket brings out a good deal of sillyness in me. I'm not sure if it's the Chinglish, or the sometimes downright suspicious products, but it makes me act pretty ridiculously.
And after one particular thing I saw today, I decided I had to blog about it. As you do, complete with camera-phone photos.
Now, I don't know whether you'd want to advertise this...

But apparently it's a common thing! Artificial chicken, anyone?

And then, a whole range of soups in cans! Okay, canned soup, so what - but these are drink style cans. Here we have black glutinous rice and ... Job's tears.

And oat congee...
Food can be very fashionable.
Finally, the thing that made me want to blog today.

What. is. that.
I took a look at the back label, which informed me that the ingredients included water, cane sugar, garlic, black pepper and bread crumbs. This didn't help.
Has anyone ever used this before??? What is it FOR? What does 'all purposes' entail?

Suggestions: pasting wallpaper, cleaning the toilet, killing spiders, patching cracks, eating with icecream.

Hm.
